We just learned that DeBordieu Rentals has some awesome South Carolina beach vacation rentals where you can stay during your time here. Their professionally managed vacation homes, condos and villas are fully furnished, and provide travelers more space, amenities, special guest services and privacy than anywhere else you’d find in the area. This resort has been the most favored among all the resorts in Myrtle Beach for the past 75 years.

They have lovely well-appointed rooms that are spacious and provide a washer/dryer and a fully-equipped kitchen so you can make as many or as few meals as you’d like. With over 1,800 restaurants in the area you just might have a tough time deciding.

Luxurious Vacation Rentals in Pawleys Island

Some of the most luxurious vacation rentals in Pawleys Island we’ve ever come across were at DeBordieu Colony in Pawleys Island. It’s there that we discovered Sea Spray where we stayed on our last vacation to the area. It was a beautiful and luxurious oceanfront home that I wanted to tell you about here.

When we stayed in this vacation home we were close enough to the ocean to hear the waves crashing to shore and smell the aroma of the salt water in the air. Now that’s truly aromatherapy! This oceanfront home is in a very private, gated community and has 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms and is located along the sea wall with spacious kitchen and dining area. The living room has a wet bar with icemakers. There are 4 TVs, VCR, 3 DVDs, stereo, wireless internet, screened porches, deck, crib, outside shower, fish sink, beach chairs and a gas grill for cooking out. This home has a Sports Membership which provided us with access to the 2 pools at the Beach Club, dining, tennis and golf, too!

The amenities we were able to enjoy at DeBordieu Club included golf, tennis, and multiple dining options. There were miles of beach and tidal creeks, an on-site nature preserve with walking trails and bike paths, and a delightful year round climate.

If you’d like to look at the vacation rentals in Pawleys Island to find something like where we stayed, DeBordieu Rentals has available call them at 843-527-9894 or toll-free at 800-797-3633.

How to Find the Best Murrells Inlet Eateries

When you’re on vacation to a new area it’s sometimes difficult to find where the best restaurants are located. It’s become somewhat easier now with mobile devices but if you don’t have a phone or other access to the internet you’re pretty much relying on whomever you can corner to ask.

We discovered a website that lists many popular Murrells Inlet restaurants in one place on elowcountry.com. You can get all the information you need there and now just for Murrells Inlet either. If you’re going out of the immediate area then check the list first for restaurants in your destination area so you’re not just aimlessly driving around.

The list of Murrells Inlet restaurants provided on the site will give you more details than just name and location. You’ll even have access to the restaurant website on occasion and be able to peruse the menu online and read revues from other guests. How convenient is that!

We love this site but we’re really looking forward to the elowcountry app when it comes out because then it will be even simpler. Just one click and we’d instantly be there. All this fumbling around through browsers and finding reception is just annoying at best. I've gotten so spoiled. Sometimes we forget about the inconvenience of the past and overlook how lucky we are to have access to this information at all!

Playing Exceptional Golf on Valentine's Day

Whether you’re here over Valentine’s Day for your Myrtle Beach golf vacation or you’re here celebrating Valentine’s Day and decide to play some golf, there’s nothing that says you can’t turn the holiday into a four day Myrtle Beach golf vacation weekend. Plenty of romance has been found on the golf courses of Myrtle Beach we can assure you.

While you probably won’t find rose petals sprinkled around the fairways or greens, it doesn’t diminish the importance of the holiday. Whatever a couple enjoys doing together is an acceptable way to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

Some people like to dine in a four star restaurant having an enjoyable candlelit dinner and there are plenty of those types of restaurants in the area. Others prefer a romantic picnic beachfront dinner on a blanket spread out in the sand. Then there are those who prefer to dine in their vacation rental and either cook together or have their dinner catered and delivered. Any way you dine, you’ll have an exceptional holiday when you spend it in coastal South Carolina.

Enjoy the nightlife the area has to offer. You won’t find it quite like this anywhere else. If you enjoy concerts, you’ll find them here. There are live theatre performances to choose from and nightclubs galore! If you’d rather leisurely stroll the boardwalk or the outdoor malls, hand in hand, you won’t be alone. That’s something people love to do all year long!
